I believe you're correct. I've never a professional artist who does what I do. All the ones I know are friends who are about the same ability as me. From them, I've seen stuff that should replace stuff thats in galleries now. Oh well. We're students and they are professionals. Or gallery artist trying to make it, rather.

yeah uh bunch of my friends go to the anime con as well

it's a decent down town to just hang out in in that its not some huge city but its nowhere near suburbia or rural-ness. its good for theatre, indie film festivals, and bum-playing music too lol.
